Beef with mushrooms and sesame seeds is a Chinese dish. Thin fried slices of meat soaked in hot marinade in combination with mushrooms, sesame seeds, boiled rice and hot red pepper will not leave you indifferent.

You will need

    • beef fillet - 500 g;
    • fresh mushrooms - 150 g;
    • sweet green pepper - 1 pc.;
    • hot red pepper - 2 pcs.;
    • sesame seeds - 2 tbsp. l.;
    • green onions - 50 g;
    • vegetable oil;
    • greens.
    • For marinade:
    • soy sauce - 1-2 tbsp. l.;
    • lemon juice - 1 tbsp. l.;
    • dry red wine - 2 tbsp. l.;
    • corn starch - 1 tbsp. l

Rinse and dry the beef fillet. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the meat across the fibers into thin slices approximately 4-5 millimeters thick.

Prepare the marinade, mixing all the ingredients well, pour the beef on it, cover and shake it properly so that all the slices are covered with the marinade. Place a cup of meat in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

Take the beef out of the refrigerator a couple of hours before cooking to warm it to room temperature.

Peel the mushrooms, rinse, dry and cut into small pieces. Boil forest mushrooms and oyster mushrooms beforehand, this is not necessary for mushrooms.

The washed and dried bell peppers are cut into long strips, removing the leg and seeds. Free hot red pepper from seeds and cut into thin rings.

Fry sesame seeds in a very hot vegetable oil until golden brown, strain and let cool.

Wash the onion, dry and finely chop.

Remove the slices of meat from the marinade and let the liquid drain - you still need it.

Put a thick-bottomed pan on the fire, pour 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and wait until it overheats. You can take the oil in which you roasted sesame seeds - then it will only need to be heated very much.

In hot oil, quickly fry the beef slices on both sides and transfer to a separate cup. Fry the meat for no more than 1 minute on each side, otherwise it will turn out to be too hard.

Then put mushrooms in a pan and fry over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, add sweet pepper, fry for another 2-3 minutes, add green onion, then beef, pour the marinade, bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Serve beef with boiled rice, sprinkled with fried sesame seeds and garnished with fresh herbs.
