- - 3 cups flour
- - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- - 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- - 1 cup white sugar
- - 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- - 2 tablespoons ground ginger
- - 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves and nutmeg
- - 3 glasses of molasses
- - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - 1/2 cup of water

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare baking dishes, grease them with butter.

Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside. Beat the water, vanilla extract and molasses thoroughly in a blender, then add a little flour and continue to beat until smooth.

Combine the blender mixture with the contents in the bowl and dry ingredients.

Spread the dough into baking dishes. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Before serving, you can pour maple syrup and garnish with coconut. Bon Appetit!
