To make batter, you will need 3 eggs, 200 grams of flour, a glass of milk, salt, spices. Beat eggs in a deep bowl, then add salt, spices, flour. All ingredients must be thoroughly mixed and gradually pour milk. The resulting batter is enough to cook 500-800 grams of fish fillet. It is very important that it is not overly thick. Ready batter should have the consistency of kefir. It should not have lumps.

In a deep pan with a thick bottom, you need to pour sunflower oil and heat it well. Slices of fish must be dipped alternately in batter and spread on a hot frying pan. Fry the fillet for 4-6 minutes on each side. Frying time depends on the thickness of the semi-finished product. When cooking steaks in batter, the cooking time needs to be increased. To bring large pieces of fish to readiness, after frying them, you can cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat and simmer the fish for 5-7 minutes.

After cooking, put the fried fish pieces on a paper towel for a few minutes. This is necessary to remove excess fat from the product. A paper towel absorbs them perfectly.

Finished fish should be laid out on portioned plates. It can be served with boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat, vegetables.

In order for the dish to acquire a piquant taste, you can fry the fish in beer batter. Cooking it is quite simple. In a deep bowl, mix 1 cup flour and 1 cup light beer, as well as salt, spices and chopped herbs. In the finished batter, you need to dip the pieces of fish and spread them on a hot frying pan with heated vegetable oil. Fry the fillet on both sides for 4-6 minutes.
