The cake with the interesting name "Anthill" is familiar to many - it was prepared in the USSR, passing the recipe for goodies from neighbor to neighbor on a notebook sheet of paper, handwritten. For a long time, the composition of the ingredients has not changed, and decorate the sweet hill, as before, poppy seeds or pieces of chocolate. Making an Anthill cake is easy by following the step-by-step recommendations with a detailed description of the actions.

You will need

  • - 120 g butter for dough and separately 150 g - for cream;

  • - 120 ml of milk;

  • - 2 raw chicken eggs;

  • - a bag of baking powder;

  • - 2 cups sifted flour;

  • - a can of condensed milk;

  • - poppy or milk / dark chocolate - to decorate the cake.

First prepare the dough by mixing in a bowl softened butter with chicken eggs.

Pour slightly warmed milk into the butter-egg mass, grind with a fork or beat with a mixer.

Pour the flour sifted 2 times through a sieve, a baking powder from a sachet, with your hands knead a sufficiently dense dough. It should not stick to hands and spread over a bowl.

Form a ball with your palms, transfer to a bag and place in the refrigerator for an hour. If you want to finish cooking the Anthill cake faster, you can put the dough out for 10 minutes in the freezer.

Preheat the pan and grease with oil. Scroll cold dough from the freezer through a manual meat grinder with large holes or grate. If there are no such devices at home, it is recommended to simply tear small pieces out of the dough and roll them in the manner of worms.

Bake slices of dough until browning at 160 degrees, remove from oven, cool.

Prepare a sweet cream by whipping with a mixer the butter and condensed milk from a can. The consistency should be dense, uniform.

Put the resulting sweet mass on a flat dish, forming a hill-anthill with your palms. So that the mass does not stick to the fingers, you can slightly moisten them, or use a spoon.

Decorating a delicious cake with "ants" is easy - you just need to sprinkle the finished hill with poppy seeds or pieces of chocolate grated on a fine grater. You can also pour "Anthill" with melted chocolate mass, so it is better soaked, it will be even tastier.
