Classic Bonn Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 head of white cabbage;

- 6 bulbs;

- 3 tomatoes;

- 2 carrots;

- 2 bell peppers;

- 1 bunch of celery stalks;

- 2 l of water;

- 1 tbsp lemon juice;

- 0.5-1 tsp granulated garlic;

- 1/3 tsp curry and black pepper;

- 1 small bunch of parsley, chives, cilantro, celery or dill.

Wash all vegetables and place on a paper towel to dry. Cut the cabbage in half, cut the stalk and chop the leaves as thin as possible. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell peppers, cut the rhizome from the celery, peel the onions, carrots and tomatoes. Cut these vegetables into slices and cubes approximately 1-1.5 cm wide and arrange them into different containers.

Pour water into a large pot and place it on high heat. Bring the liquid to a boil, throw carrots into it and reduce the temperature to an average. After 5 minutes, put onion, cabbage and celery in a seething broth. Cook the Bonn soup for 10 minutes, then dip peppers, tomatoes and boil for another 10 minutes.

Put the spices in the pan, pour in the lemon juice and mix everything well. Remove the dishes from the stove, close the lid and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Pour a handful of chopped greens into a bowl of soup just before serving.

For 7 days of dieting on Bonn soup, you can lose up to 5 kg. Just eat it when you feel hungry, without any restrictions. If you want to repeat the fasting week, first take a 2-3-day break.
