Cook small fish broth in salted water. In a separate saucepan, cook pearl barley. Rinse the grains first and sort through, so the pickle with pearl barley will turn out more transparent.

After the broth has boiled, strain it. Drain the water from the cereal if it remains, and add the barley itself to the broth. Cook the porridge broth for a couple of minutes over low heat.

Peel the potatoes, rinse them, cut them into small cubes, and then add to the broth. Cut the cucumbers into small pieces, send them to the pickle. Fry onion and parsley in vegetable oil separately, add to the broth. Do not forget to salt.

Make minced meat from fish for meatballs by scrolling the fillet through a meat grinder or chopping in a combine. Pour in the milk pulp with milk and butter, let it soak, then add to the minced meat and stir. Form small balls, send them to boil in pickle 5 minutes before the end of cooking.

Serve the fish pickle with pearl barley and meatballs, sprinkled with dill before serving.
