We are used to the fact that the pie is a rather complicated dish, the preparation of which takes a lot of time. But this wonderful cake is prepared in just half an hour and at the same time it turns out to be very tasty and satisfying.

You will need

  • - 4 chicken breasts (fillet);

  • - 150 g of champignons;

  • - 1 layer of finished puff pastry;

  • - 100 g sour cream;

  • - 300 ml of chicken stock;

  • - 6-7 onion heads;

  • - 20 g of butter;

  • - 1-2 pcs. bay leaf;

  • - 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg;

  • - 1 teaspoon of mustard;

  • - 1 tsp flour;

  • - 1 egg;

  • - vegetable oil, thyme, salt, pepper.

Cut the fillet into strips, their thickness should be about 1 cm. Put the fillet in a heated frying pan in which vegetable oil is poured (about 2 tbsp. Tablespoons). Add salt, pepper, butter, nutmeg, thyme and chopped spring onions. Stir and fry over high heat for about 3 minutes.

Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and add to the chicken. Also put sour cream, flour, mustard in a pan and pour the chicken stock. Mix everything well and leave on low heat for 3-4 minutes. Excess liquid should evaporate.

After that, put all the ingredients in a small baking dish (it is better if it is rectangular).

Roll out a layer of puff pastry so that it turns out to be slightly larger in size than the size of the baking dish. Cover the filling of the pie with dough on top, and press the edges of the dough a little on the form. Lightly cut the dough diagonally, but do not need to cut it through.

To make the crust of the pie ruddy, grease the dough with an egg and send it to the preheated oven. Since the filling of the pie is already ready, it remains only to wait until the dough is lightly browned. At a temperature in the oven of 220 degrees, it will take no more than 5-10 minutes.
