Homemade cakes are always tastier than the bakery. Check it yourself, bake, for example, these rich bagels.

Such bagels will be very tender.

For bagels, you will need: 1.5-2 cups flour, 200 g butter or margarine, 100 g sour cream, 150 g kefir, a little sugar and powdered sugar, dried fruits to taste (for example, prunes, dried apricots) about 200 g.

Cooking bagels:

1. Knead the dough from flour and frozen grated butter (margarine), sour cream, kefir, a couple of spoons of granulated sugar. Mix well and place in the cold (for at least a couple of hours).

2. Rinse dried fruits, let them stand them in warm water for at least 20 minutes.

3. Roll out the dough thinner (the thickness of the cake should be about 2-3 mm), cut it into triangles.

4. Form bagels from triangles (roll them from the wide part of the triangle to the narrow one. Before rolling into each bagel, put a little filling (you can have a lot, to taste and desire).

5. Put the bagels on a baking sheet greased with butter or margarine. Bake them in the oven at 190 degrees until cooked.

6. Before serving, sprinkle the bagels with icing sugar.

Useful advice: it’s probably worth experimenting with toppings, for example, try to put finely chopped fresh apples with sugar and cinnamon or candied orange, thick jam. Also, this dough is suitable for savory fillings. It may be paradoxical to put meat or vegetables in bagels, but such pies are very tasty. Only during cooking do not put sugar in the dough, and before serving, do not sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
