You will need

  • - 2 eggs

  • - olive oil

  • - 2 tbsp. wheat flour

  • - 1 kg of potatoes

  • - 1 tbsp. rice

  • - 2 tbsp. fat milk

  • - spices (pepper, salt, dried mint, nutmeg)

Instruction manual

1

Beat one egg in a shallow bowl and beat it with salt and 3 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil. Add pre-sifted wheat flour and knead the elastic dough. Roll it into a ball, cover it with a cloth and leave it to "rest" for 15-20 minutes.

2

Next, prepare the filling. To do this, peel and cook the potatoes, prepare mashed potatoes from it, be sure to add a little hot milk. Boil the rice until half cooked (7-10 minutes) and combine it with the cooked mashed potatoes, add olive oil, nutmeg, peppermint, salt and season with pepper.

3

Lubricate the round baking dish with olive oil. Roll out the dough into a large round layer and place it in the mold so that the edges hang slightly. Spread the filling evenly. Wrap the protruding edges of the dough inward, and grease the whole cake with a beaten egg and butter.

4

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the pathopath for 45 minutes.

Useful advice

To test the readiness of the cake, pierce the dough with a dry wooden stick. If it remains clean, without clumps sticking, the cake can be removed from the oven.
