Fried fish fillet with onion and cream sauce will be an excellent dish for guests and home. The dish is prepared simply and the preparation does not take much time. The indicated amount of food is enough for 2 servings.

You will need

  • - halibut (fillet) - 400 g;

  • - shallots - 1 onion;

  • - butter - 100 g;

  • - vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.;

  • - dry white wine - 250 ml;

  • - hard cheese - 50 g;

  • - water - 100 ml;

  • - flour - 1 tsp;

  • - cream 10% - 50 ml;

  • - chives - 30 g;

  • - salt - 0.5 tsp.

Cooking the sauce. Peel shallots and cut into small cubes. Chop the chives. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan and lightly fry the shallots until golden brown. Then pour dry wine into the stewpan and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat under a lid.

Dilute the flour with water, mix and pour into a saucepan with onions, bring the mixture to a boil, salt. Turn off the heat, cool slightly and pour in the cream. Add chopped chives. The sauce is ready.

Rinse the fish fillet with water, pat dry, cut into portions, salt. Melt the remaining butter in a pan and fry the fish on both sides until golden brown (1-2 minutes on each side).

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Put the fish fillet, pour it with the prepared sauce. Put grated cheese on top. Bake fish in the oven at 220 degrees for 10 minutes. The dish is ready.

As a side dish, you can serve vegetables, potatoes or rice.
