- - 2/3 cup walnuts;

First, 2/3 cup walnuts must be soaked in warm boiled water for 30 minutes.

Then we take 2 eggs, separate the yolks from the proteins and mix them with a small amount of milk, whipping the mixture with a mixer until smooth. Then pour the rest of the milk, add cream and sugar. Mix everything until sugar dissolves. We put the resulting mass on low heat and cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Carefully ensure that the mixture does not boil.

We drain water from walnuts and grind them with a blender, turning it on at high speed. The resulting nut paste is combined with the milk-yolk mixture and thoroughly alter everything. Pour the ice cream blank into the container for freezing (if desired, the mixture can be filtered through a strainer) and put in the freezer. At the same time, in the process of freezing, walnut ice cream should be mixed several times with a frequency of 2-3 hours.

Before serving, dessert can be decorated with chopped almonds and halves of walnuts.
