This is an ideal dish for those who need to quickly prepare a full meal consisting of soup and a second course. In addition, this is a very economical option!

We need 4 servings:

- 4 pieces of meat - pork, beef, chicken breast - the main thing is that the pieces are the size of a palm and a thickness of about 1½ - 2 cm; You can even use different types of meat;

- 2 onions;

- 100 grams of any cheese;

- 100 grams of rice (one bag for cooking);

- a small bunch of dill;

- 1 carrot;

- 4 large potatoes;

- bay leaves, peppercorns, salt;

- optional - other vegetables (cauliflower and white cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, tomatoes, leeks), green peas (frozen or in a jar);

- 1 tablespoon of butter.

1. We wash the meat, dry it and with a sharp thin knife we ​​cut each piece on one side so that we get a “pocket”.

2. Peel the onion, rinse, cut into small cubes, fry in butter until light brown. At the same time we set to cook rice until half ready. Grate the cheese. My dill and chop finely. We make the filling for the meat "pockets": mix rice, ½ onion, ½ cheese and dill; with the resulting mass we fill the "pockets", stab them with toothpicks or sew them up with thread, then put them in a pan, fill them with two liters of water and put on high heat. As it boils, remove the foam, reduce heat and cook for 1 hour.

3. Prepare vegetables: potatoes, carrots, wash my zucchini, peel and cut into cubes, cabbage and tomatoes, and chop. Add all the vegetables and the remaining onion to the meat, put salt, bay leaf, peppercorns, and other spices to taste there. Cook the resulting soup for another 30 minutes. To the finished soup, you can serve sour cream and chopped greens.

4. We take out the meat from the soup, remove the toothpicks or floss, put in a baking dish, slightly oiled, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and put in a hot oven for 10 minutes to form a golden crust. Hearty and delicious main course is ready!
