Salads are an indispensable component of the New Year's feast. If you want to diversify the holiday menu, include an original salad with pineapple and shrimp. Its refreshing taste will delight even a gourmet.

To prepare an unusual New Year's salad, you will need:

  • 150 g peeled shrimp;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 100 g of cheese;
  • 150 g canned pineapple (3 rings);
  • 2 tsp lemon juice;
  • 2 lettuce leaves;
  • a bunch of dill;
  • salt to taste and mayonnaise for dressing.

Boil the eggs, cool in cold water, and then cut into small cubes.

Drain the pineapples or simply dry the slices on a paper towel, then cut into small cubes.

Place the shrimp in boiling water. It must be pre-salt, it is also possible to flavor the water by adding a couple of peas of pepper, a leaf of parsley and dill. After that, bring the water to a boil and cook seafood for no more than 2 minutes, otherwise they risk becoming "rubber". Fold the shrimp in a colander so that the water can drain.

Grate the cheese on a medium-sized grater. Prepare lettuce leaves: wash them, dry and lay on a plate. They will be a kind of decoration of the dish.

Put pineapple cubes on the leaves and pour them with mayonnaise. Then lay the chopped eggs and pour the mayonnaise again. Then comes the cheese layer, it also needs to be coated with mayonnaise on top. The final layer is shrimp. Place them on the cheese, sprinkle with lemon juice a little and decorate with herbs.

If the soul wants something even more exotic, try making pineapple and shrimp salad with tequila for the New Year.

You will need:

300 g peeled shrimp;

  • 125 ml of tequila;
  • 1 fresh pineapple;
  • 70 ml of olive oil;
  • 1 tsp grated lime zest;
  • 1 tbsp. l lime juice;
  • 2 pcs. bell pepper;
  • 1 tbsp. l sea ​​salt;
  • 250 ml of water.

Combine sea salt, water and tequila. In this mixture you need to marinate seafood. For this recipe, you should take not red, but green shrimp. Put them in the sauce for 10 minutes.

Arrange the slices of pineapples on a large plate, pour them with half the olive oil, but do not overdo it. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Beat in a small bowl of juice and lime zest with the remaining oil and a tablespoon of tequila. Season with pepper and salt. The sauce is ready.

Take out the seafood from the marinade. Pour it and half a glass of water into the pan, bring to a boil. Place the marinated shrimp and keep on fire for a minute. After that, cool the seafood.

Slice bell pepper into thin slices. For this dish, it is advisable to take fruits of different colors, for example, red and yellow. Mix pepper with shrimp, sauce and finely chopped parsley.

Place the salad on a plate with pineapples, garnish with parsley and serve to the New Year's table.
