Baked tongue with mushrooms and cheese sauce - ingredients

To appreciate the great taste of this product, cook the baked tongue in a cheese sauce with mushrooms. For this dish, take:

- 800-900 g of beef tongue;

- 50 g of onion turnips;

- 150 g of mushrooms;

- 30 g sour cream;

- 30 g of water;

- 50 g of cheese;

- 1 tablespoon of flour;

- 25 ml of vegetable oil;

- 30 g of bell pepper;

- ground paprika, herbs, salt to taste.

Cooking tongue with mushrooms

Wash the offal, fill it with cold salted water, boil for 3 hours. Then place in a bowl and rinse under running cold water. Now the skin is easily removed from it.

Prepare the sauce while cooking the tongue. To do this, cut the mushrooms, put them to fry in a pan in sunflower oil. After 10 minutes, add the peeled and chopped onions to them, keep on the fire in a pan for another 5-7 minutes.

Mix flour with water until smooth. Pour a thin stream into the pan, stirring continuously. Add sour cream without stopping stirring. After 3 minutes, turn off the heat.

Cut the tongue into diagonal slices 0.5 cm wide. Place half of the slices on a greased baking sheet, put sour cream and mushroom sauce on each, cover with the second half of the slices.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater, add paprika, chopped pepper, chopped herbs, salt, mayonnaise. Stir the cheese sauce and brush on it the surface of the slices of the tongue. Bake the dish for 15 minutes at 180 ° C. The number of products is designed for four people who can enjoy this delicious dish.
