The classic version of cooking cranberry jam is quite simple. This recipe does not use other berries and fruits, which allows you to fully enjoy the unique taste of ripe lingonberries.

Essential Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of lingonberry;

  • 250 ml of water;

  • 500 g of granulated sugar.

Cooking:

The berries of fresh lingonberries are thoroughly washed under running water and cleaned of their tails. We fill the pan with water and pour lingonberries into it. We give the berries a little boil, then add sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, and then cook for another 15 minutes. From the surface of the jam, remove the foam, pour it into clean jars, roll up and remove to cool.

Lingonberry jam itself is very tasty, however, if you add other berries or fruits to it, it will acquire a more interesting and rich taste. For example, it turns out incredibly tasty jam from cranberries and apples. In addition, in terms of its healing properties, this delicacy is in no way inferior to raspberry jam.

Essential Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of lingonberry;

  • 1 kg of apples;

  • 200 ml of water;

  • 700 g of granulated sugar.

Cooking:

My lingonberries and clean from leaves, tails and other garbage. Wash the apples, peel them and cut them into medium-sized cubes. We put the pan with water on the stove, when the liquid boils, lower the lingonberries into it and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Then add chopped apples to the pan and cook for another 10 minutes, without stopping interfering. Pour sugar into the mixture and cook again for 10 minutes. Ready cranberry-apple jam is poured into hot sterilized jars and rolled up.

  • 1 kg of lingonberry;

  • 1 kg of blackberry;

  • 200 ml of honey;

  • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of lemon juice;

  • 400 ml of water.

Cooking:

I wash the berries under running water and clear them of their tails. We fill the pan with water, put it on a slow fire, pour out the washed berries and add honey. Then bring the water to a boil and cook the mixture for 20 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove lingonberry-blackberry jam from the fire, add lemon juice to it, thoroughly alter everything and let cool to room temperature. Pour the finished treat into jars and twist the lids.
