Choose sticks and iris

To make the dessert not only tasty, but also beautiful, buy the smallest corn sticks. Products in the form of balls look very beautiful. If they were not on sale, buy ordinary sticks and cut them into pieces with a sharp knife.

Choose the right iris. It should be fresh and not too hard. The ideal option is semi-solid milk or creamy iris. If you like unusual tastes, buy iris with a coffee, nut or chocolate aroma.

Corn stick cake

This cake resembles the classic "Anthill", but it cooks much faster. The finished product can be decorated with chocolate, sprinkled with ground nuts, cocoa powder or powdered sugar.

You will need:

- 100 g of corn sticks;

- 100 g butter;

- 500 g of iris;

- 50 g of white chocolate;

- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of cream or milk.

To prevent the iris from burning, melt it in a water bath. Place a large bowl in a pot of boiling water, put in it butter and toffee, freed from candy wrappers. While stirring, melt the mixture. Remove the pan from the heat.

Cook a flat dish and lightly oil it. Pour corn sticks into a toffee bowl and mix with a spoon until smooth. Spoon the mixture onto a dish in the form of a slide. With your hands dipped in cold water, form a cake, making it more even. Let the product harden, it will take at least an hour.

Melt white chocolate mixed with cream or milk in a saucepan. Stir the mixture and place it in a pastry syringe. If there is no syringe, use a paper cornet with a cut tip. Apply strokes and zigzags to the cake. Leave the product until it finally hardens - the iris should become tight and keep its shape when cut. Before serving, you can decorate the cake with sugar flowers or chocolate beads sprinkled on a dish.
