  • - flour - 160 g;

  • - butter - 90 g;

  • - water - 2-3 tablespoons;

  • - icing sugar - 1 tablespoon.

  • For filling:

  • - apples - 2 pcs;

  • - juice of half a lemon;

  • - sugar - 1 tablespoon.

  • For almond cream:

  • - butter - 180 g;

  • - icing sugar - 125 g;

  • - eggs - 3 pcs;

  • - zest of 1 lemon;

  • - ground almonds - 1.5-2 cups;

  • - flour - 1 tablespoon.

Combine the following ingredients: butter, flour and powdered sugar. Mix the mixture with a mixer, adding water in small quantities until the mass turns into a smooth dough.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 210 degrees. Cover the baking dish with parchment and put the dough on it, gently spreading it over the entire surface. In this form, send to bake for about 7 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the filling. Grind apples with a coarse grater, then combine with lemon juice. Mix thoroughly. If you use sour apples to make a cake, then you can add a tablespoon of sugar to the filling.

Beat a mixture of butter and icing sugar. Then add the chicken eggs to it and beat again. In the resulting mass, add grated lemon zest, almonds and flour. Mix everything thoroughly until a uniform, slightly thicker cream is obtained.

Place the apple filling on the baked dough. Put the obtained almond cream on top of it. Garnish your dessert with almond plates, if desired. Then cover it with foil and put in the oven for half an hour. When about 10 minutes are left until the cake is ready, remove the foil.

Allow the finished baking to cool, then cut into small pieces. Almond-apple cakes are ready!
