Potato with mushrooms is a traditional dish that has been successful for centuries. It is not only tasty and satisfying, but quite affordable for a family with a small budget.

In order to cook such a dish you will need: about a pound or a few more potatoes, 300-500 g of fresh or frozen champignons, a package of sour cream (300-400 g), a few cloves of garlic, depending on your taste, a couple of tablespoons of sunflower oil, dill, parsley, salt, pepper are also to taste.

The cooking process is obvious: peel the potatoes, cut into small thin slices. Lightly fry potato slices, salt, pepper. We clean the garlic, chop it finely and add it to the potatoes. Fill everything with sour cream and simmer for about five minutes all together. While the potatoes are stewing, wash the mushrooms and cut into slices. Fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil until almost ready and put in the potatoes. Stir everything together with a piece of finely chopped dill and parsley and simmer for 15-25 minutes in the oven at medium temperature. Serve hot, sprinkled with the rest of the greens.

Useful advice: of course, in addition to mushrooms, you can use other mushrooms (ceps or honey mushrooms, for example, which can be found on sale easily and simply), but the option with mushrooms is perhaps the most budgetary. By the way, it is quite possible to use other greens, also focusing on the individual taste.
