Boiled rice also goes well with meat and fish cakes. But do not cook it like porridge. Cook the rice for a side dish in the pan. First, fry it in a small amount of vegetable oil, and then cook, stirring constantly and adding 70-100 g of vegetable, fish or meat broth as it is absorbed. Do not forget to put spices. With meat cutlets, you can serve pasta or vermicelli, adding butter to this side dish. As gravy, you can use the juice that remained after frying the cutlets, but you can also make a separate sauce, for example, frying the onions with carrots and fresh tomatoes, and then stewing slightly over low heat.

Serve the patties with a side dish, adding some pickles to the dish: chopped thinly pickled cucumber, a spoon of sauerkraut, and salted tomato.
