You will need

  • - Pork fat - 1 kg;

  • - Garlic - 5 large cloves;

  • - Black ground pepper - 1 tsp;

  • - Salt - 2 tbsp. l.;

  • - Paprika - 1 tbsp. l.;

  • - Mayonnaise - 200 ml;

  • - Fresh dill - 1 bunch;

  • - Foil;

  • - Baking sheet or baking dish.

To start, rinse the lard under running water and dry it thoroughly with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix black pepper, paprika and salt.

Then make some transverse deep incisions in the fat. Grate it from all sides with the resulting mixture of spices, paying special attention to the places in the depth of the incisions.

Now prepare the marinade. Peel the garlic cloves and crush them through a press or chop finely with a knife. Chop fresh dill. After this, mix the mayonnaise with garlic and dill, and then coat the lard with this mass.

Place the blank in foil, wrap the edges so that there are no holes, and put in the refrigerator for an hour. After the time has passed, turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees.

While the stove is warming up, remove the bacon from the refrigerator and place it directly in the foil on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. And then put in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
