Before starting work, prepare a cream, whipped cream or rice mass. Any cream is suitable for decoration - cream, butter, protein or custard. It can be painted with food colors or fruit and vegetable juices.

Think over the design of the cake, or rather draw all the decorative elements on paper. If the cake is already baked, inspect it - you may have to camouflage some areas.

Cover the cake with special mastic, glaze or cream. Flatten everything thoroughly with a knife. The sides of the cake can be sprinkled with biscuit or nut crumbs or grated chocolate. Please note that jewelry made of cream keeps well only on a smooth horizontal surface. Before decorating the cake with cream, let the coating dry a little.

Using a teaspoon, fill the syringe with cream in ¾ volume. Apply the cream tightly so that voids do not form in the flask of the syringe, otherwise your design may be damaged.

Before you start decorating the cake, make samples on a plate. Beautiful borders in the form of frills, which are usually located on the edge of the cake, are made using a nozzle with an oblique cut. The nozzle with a wedge-shaped cut is indispensable in the image of all kinds of leaves. Letters and patterns are drawn with a cornet with a narrow straight tip. Take a knitting needle or a large needle and outline the outline of the pattern on the cake. For greater convenience, hold the syringe with both hands. Carefully guide the tip, adjusting its inclination and pressure. When applying small drawings, keep the syringe close to the surface of the cake, working with large motifs, raise the syringe higher.
