Chinese Jam Recipe

In order to make jam from Chinese, you will need the following ingredients:

- 1 kilogram of Chinese fruits, - 1 kilogram of granulated sugar, - 1.5 cups of drinking water.

Take fresh and strong fruits of the Chinese deciduous apple tree, about 2 cm in diameter, rinse well. Trim the ponytails and remove all the greens. Poke the "paradise apples" with a small, sharp object, a toothpick or a match will do. Without cutting, put the fruits in a bowl and pour them with boiling water, leave to stand for 10 minutes. After this procedure, be sure to drain the water, and cool the fruits, pouring them with cold drinking water or leaving for half an hour on the kitchen table.

Make syrup. To do this, pour a kilogram of sugar into the pan and pour one and a half glasses of water. Place the container on the stove. Constantly stir the water with sugar until the mixture boils and becomes thick. When the sugar has dissolved - turn off the heat.

Pour into the cooked hot syrup the cooled Chinese, set a slow fire and cook, stirring constantly, and when the syrup becomes completely transparent - turn off the stove.

Strain the resulting syrup, separating the apples, in a separate pan and put on a slow fire. Boil it until thick, and then pour the contents back to the fruit and mix everything with a wooden spatula. But do this very carefully so that the apples do not lose their shape.

Leave the jam in a dark and cool place for at least 8-9 hours, do not forget to just close the pan with the contents of the lid.
