Instruction manual

1

Look carefully at the grapes and remove the mold-damaged berries.

2

Dry the bunches of grapes so that when laying for storage the berries are completely dry. You can use a soft cloth or cotton to dry. Otherwise, you can wipe from the berries a waxy natural coating that protects the berries.

3

Use gloves made of soft cloth or simply cover your palm with a piece of cloth when you take the grapes prepared for storage.

4

Prepare a room for storing grapes. It should be dark, cool and dry. The optimum room temperature is 5-7 degrees C. Ventilate it well in advance.

5

The first way. Dip the bunches for 15 minutes in warm water. Following for 5 seconds in boiling water. Then in very cold water until completely cooled.

6

Dry the berries as described above.

7

Prepare sawdust, dry them. It is better to opt for aspen or lime, as they will not give the berries a foreign smell and taste. Cover them with the bottom of a shallow wooden box.

8

Lay the bunches of grapes in one layer. Sprinkle the sawdust on top again.

9

The second way. Melt the required amount of paraffin. Dip the prepared clusters in it.

10

Hang the grapes on a taut rope or wire in a prepared room for long-term storage. Its clusters should not touch each other with berries.

eleven

Review all grapes periodically. Remove damaged berries.

12

The third way. Trim the bunch with part of the vine. Place the bottom cut of the vine in a container of water, like a flower stalk. Drop a piece of charcoal or a small pinch of salt there. This will prevent decay. Clean in a suitable room. Change and add water periodically.

note

Sawdust of conifers can spoil the taste and smell of grapes with its strong aroma.
