The original techniques that have developed in the production of Russian vodka make it an exceptional drink in a series of similar products from other countries. The best is vodka, made on the basis of traditional rye raw materials. Blending is done with water that has undergone additional filtration. Boiling and distillation is excluded. Characteristic of traditional Russian recipes is the addition to the base of a small amount of other cereal constituents and aromatic additives.

To make high-quality vodka at home is realistic, subject to a number of mandatory conditions. The basis of all strong drinks, including vodka, is an alcoholic solution, which is infused with the addition of various plant components (roots, herbs, flowers, fruits, berries, etc.). The use of various additives allows you to make vodka with specific properties. Depending on your wishes, you can get a product with a healing, calming or tonic effect.

1.To keep the taste of the drink with vegetable raw materials unchanged, the alcohol solution is subjected to the distillation procedure. To simplify the procedure, the desired plant components can be added to the sourdough during bookmarking. A stronger aroma can be given to the drink if the prepared yeast is diluted with pre-infused broths of herbs or roots.

2. For distillation, vodka must be properly insisted. Put spices in a bottle, fill them with vodka and keep in a dark, warm place for fourteen days, shaking every day. After two weeks, the vodka needs to be poured into a distillation cube, and the spices are pressed there. Remember that distilling vodka with spices allows you to draw more flavor out of them than a simple tincture.

3. To get liquor, vodka with a milder taste and lower strength allows the addition of sugar syrup. To make the syrup, crush the sugar as finely as possible and pour it into boiled water. Boil the syrup until the foam no longer appears. Pour the settled syrup into vodka in the amount of ¼ syrup per volume of sweetened vodka.

4. You can make vodka in different colors using various herbs and spices. Ginger or saffron added to vodka gives a yellow color. The following components will help to achieve a green color: mint, lemon balm and horseradish leaves, as well as blackcurrant leaves, parsley juice, leek feathers. Unusual scarlet color will give vodka sandalwood or tartar. Folk recipes also allow you to give the drink purple, blue, brown or flesh-colored. The choice of certain ingredients depends on your taste preferences.
