You will need

- - 300 ml of hot water
- - 3 tbsp. l vegetable oil
- - 270 g sugar
- - 0.5 tsp vanilla sugar
- - 4 egg yolks
- - 500 ml of milk

Cook the dough. First mix 3 tbsp. granulated sugar, vegetable oil and water. Put on a small fire and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add flour, mix well until smooth. Knead the dough. It will turn out elastic, soft and will not stick to your hands. Wrap the dough in a film and put in a cold place for 30-40 minutes.

Make a cream. Rub the yolks with sugar until white, add vanilla sugar and 3 tbsp. flour. In a saucepan, slightly warm the milk and pour in a thin stream of the yolk mixture, bring to a boil, the cream should thicken. Remove from heat and let cool.

Divide the dough into 12 identical pieces. Roll each part thinly. Place the dish and cut out even circles.

Heat the pan and fry the cakes, for about 25-30 seconds on each side.

Put the first tortilla on the dish, grease generously with cream, then cover with the second tortilla and grease the cream again. Repeat this 10 more times. Leave the cake for 8-10 hours to soak.

Fry the almonds in a dry frying pan, chop and sprinkle the cake on top.
