Take an empty glass half-liter jar without chips and cracks or any other defects that could crack it during processing and sterilization. Rinse it thoroughly with baking soda.

Rinse the inside of the jar several times with boiling water. If you have a double boiler, then put a sterilization jar in it for five minutes so that small organisms do not get into vegetable oil when pouring.

Cool the jar to room temperature. To do this, put it on a clean cloth upside down (for example, a lint-free towel or another smooth but clean cloth).

Take a sterilized glass half-liter jar and fill it with approximately 250 ml of ordinary vegetable oil (it is advisable to use olive or sunflower oil for children).

Place a half-liter jar of ordinary vegetable oil in a pan that has a thick bottom. Two-thirds fill the pan with water, but so that it does not get inside the can.

Sterilize a half-liter jar filled with oil in a pan, to do this, put the pan on the minimum preheated burner, for about forty minutes.

Remove the jar of oil from the pan and let it cool at room temperature. The oil is ready to use after it has completely cooled.

When using ready-made cosmetics intended for the care of the nasal and ear passages of a newborn, an allergic reaction may appear on the skin of the baby.
Useful advice
Sterile vegetable oil is recommended during the morning and evening procedures, as well as after washing or bathing the newborn. Be sure to tightly close the jar in which sterile vegetable oil is stored with a plastic lid.
