Sticky rice results from a high starch content. The starchiest rice is round-grain. It is this rice that has a high stickiness, it is also called "milk", as it is also used for making milk porridges. But the most popular dish today, where rice with good stickiness is required, is, of course, sushi.

- 900 gr. rice;
- 1 liter of water.

Rinse rice with cold water 5-6 times until the water is completely clear.

Pour rice water through a sieve.

Pour the rice with water and put on a large fire until it boils.

Then close the pan with a lid, reduce heat to a minimum and cook another 10 minutes.

Turn off the heat and leave the rice under the lid for another 15 minutes to absorb the remaining water.

When cooking, do not stir the rice to avoid lumps.
