The infusion of various berries, fruits, vegetables and even herbs based on alcohol, with the addition of sugar and other components, gives us the right to call this drink - tincture. And cooking it at home provides us with protection from chemistry and flavorings.

You will need

    • Lemon tincture:
    • 6 lemons
    • 800 g sugar
    • 1, 5 l of water
    • 3 l of vodka
    • Peach tincture:
    • 1 kg peach seed
    • 3 l of vodka
    • 400 g sugar
    • glass of water
    • Citrus tincture:
    • 100 g lemon zest
    • 100 gr orange zest
    • 3 l of vodka
    • 4 cups of water
    • 1 kg of sugar
    • Fruit and berry tincture:
    • 1 liter of vodka
    • 100 g of orange peel
    • 8-10 pcs. carnations
    • 1 cup cherry juice (homemade)

Lemon tincture. Peel the lemons from the zest, cut it into strips (you can grate it on a coarse grater) and add it to the vodka. Let it brew for 2-3 days. Prepare the syrup. Boil water with sugar for 10-15 minutes and pour into enameled dishes. Add strained vodka infusion to the syrup and mix thoroughly. Bottle the lemon tincture and close the corks. Already on the third day, it will acquire a beautiful transparent color.

Peach tincture. Grind peach bones and add them to vodka. Close the container with the infusion tightly and place it on the windowsill for 3-4 weeks. Prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar with water for 10-15 minutes. Mix syrup with infusion and strain. Bottle peach tincture and close with a tight lid.

Citrus tincture. Pour the zest, cut into slices, with vodka and leave to infuse for 2-3 weeks in a warm place. Prepare the syrup by boiling water and sugar for 20 minutes. Mix the infusion with sugar syrup and bottle, corking with lids or corks.

Fruit and berry tincture. Pour the zest of orange with vodka, adding cloves to the infusion. Allow the resulting mixture to infuse for 3-4 weeks in a dark place. Add cherry juice to the infusion and mix well. Filter the tincture and pour into the bottles, closing them with a tight lid. Leave the infused drink for 3-4 months.
