How to make ice cream without an ice cream maker

You will need:

- 300 ml of milk;

- 250 ml of 35% cream;

- three teaspoons of milk powder;

- two teaspoons of starch;

- 100 grams of sugar;

- a teaspoon of vanilla sugar.

Pour 250 ml of milk into the pan, add sugar, vanilla sugar and milk powder, mix thoroughly. Dissolve starch in the remaining 50 ml of milk.

Put the pot of milk on the fire, bring the milk to a boil. After the mass boils, pour the milk with starch into it and continue to cook and stir until the mixture thickens.

Remove the pan from the heat, cool the mass slightly, then cover with plastic wrap and leave to cool completely. Whip the cream until it peaks, then mix it with the chilled milk mixture.

Pour the resulting mass into a special container for freezing and place it in the freezer for three hours. Pour out ice cream every 20-30 minutes and beat with a mixer.

After the lapse of time, put the ice cream in paper cups and place it in the freezer again, but for half an hour. Homemade ice cream is ready.

How to make homemade popsicle without an ice cream maker

Prepare the ice cream itself according to the recipe described above (if desired, you can add berries, nuts, chocolate, etc. to make ice cream), then transfer the mass first to the container, and after hardening, transfer the ice cream to special elongated narrow molds (them can be purchased at any hardware store), trying to compact it as tightly as possible. Place the molds for 30 minutes in the freezer, after placing special popsicle sticks in the middle of each ice cream.

While the ice cream congeals, prepare the icing. Take 100 grams of chocolate and fresh butter, put the ingredients in a saucepan and melt. Cool the icing to 30-35 degrees, then remove the ice cream from the molds, dip each in a slightly warm icing and place on a tray covered with parchment. Place the popsicle for 15 minutes in the freezer.
