Instruction manual

1

Try boiling a compote of apples and frozen cherries. Wash thick apples of sweet varieties, peel and seeds and cut into cubes. Put them in a saucepan, pour hot water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Pour the seedless cherries and sugar into the pan. Cook everything together for another 15 minutes, turn off the stove and leave the compote to infuse. Pour it into glasses, add apples and cherries to each. Serve cold or warm, accompanied by buns.

2

On a hot summer day, be sure to make a compote of fresh cherries. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Sort out fresh cherries, discarding rumpled and rotten berries. Rinse the selected fruits thoroughly and put them in a saucepan along with apple slices.

3

Pour the mixture with hot water and cook over moderate heat for 10-15 minutes. Add liquid honey or sugar to the pan. Cut the orange zest into thin strips and pour into a hot compote. Cook together for another 10 minutes. Cool and pour the finished drink into a tall jug. If desired, crushed ice can be poured into it and a few leaves of fresh mint can be thrown.

4

When planning a dinner with friends, prepare an unusual dessert - compote with liquor. Sort the cherries, remove the tails. Rinse the berries thoroughly. From the apples, remove the core and cut them into thin slices. Put the fruits in a saucepan, pour them with cold water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat under the pan and add sugar. Cook until apples are soft.

5

Turn off the stove and let the compote stand under the lid. Cool it and pour into tall glasses. If desired, cooked apples and cherries can be added to each. Pour 1 tablespoon of cherry liqueur into each glass and garnish with cocktail cherries. Serve with crunchy macaroons.
