Mastic booties are a great option for decorating a cake. A cake decorated with masticized booties, a dummy and a stroller will be an excellent decoration of a festive table for the birthday of your baby.

To create booties from mastic you will need:

- finished mastic;

- food colorings;

- food glue;

- cardboard;

- a pencil;

- scissors.

  1. Image
    Draw on the cardboard shapes that are shown in the photo (you can draw them “by eye”).

  2. Image

    Use sharp scissors to cut them.

  3. Image

    Divide the mastic into two parts. Leave one part as it is, and color the other with food color pink. Roll the pink mastic into a layer with a thickness of about five millimeters, put the cut patterns on it and use a sharp knife to carefully cut the workpieces. It is worth noting that it is necessary to use an exceptionally sharp knife to prevent stretching the mastic.

  4. Image
    Take a regular toothpick (if there are no special mastic tools) and make holes along the edge of a larger mastic blank, trying to make the distance between them the same.

  5. Image

    Take the mastic blank-sole and the blank top of the booties, glue them with food glue. There are marks on the templates; when cutting parts, these points must be noted, and when gluing them, they must be combined.

  6. Image
    Create a second bootie in the same way.

  7. Image

    Roll out a small piece of pink mastic, put a pattern in the shape of a bear on it and cut out a figure. In the same way, make a second same figure.

  8. Image

    Roll mastic of natural beige color into a layer five millimeters thick and cut four circles. Two circles with a diameter equal to the diameter of the head of a figure in the shape of a bear, two circles - to the diameter of the ears of a figure in the shape of a bear. Cut the smaller circles in half and glue the cubs to the ears, first place the large circles exactly on the faces of the bears, then gently slide them a little down. Trim the excess mastic.

  9. Image
    From pink mastic, roll up two tiny pea-sized balls in your hands.

  10. Image

    Place the resulting balls on the faces of the bears, shape them noses. Carefully make eyes with a toothpick and color them black.

  11. Image

    Glue the resulting figures to the front of the booties.

  12. Image
    Roll four small balls with a diameter slightly larger than a pea from mastic of beige and pink. Take two beige balls with your fingers, put pink balls on the resulting "cakes" and slightly press them down. Toothpick on the resulting figures, make two holes. As a result, you should get details that look like buttons.

  13. Image

    Attach the resulting “buttons” to the booties on the side, simulating the fastened straps.

    Booties from mastic are ready. Thus, you can create booties of any color and with any application on the front of the product.
