  • Large potatoes (it’s more convenient to grate) - 1 kg;
  • Large egg - 2 pcs;
  • Onion-turnip - 1 large onion;
  • Sifted flour - 2 tablespoons;
  • Low-fat sour cream - 2 tablespoons;
  • Salt and pepper;
  • Minced meat (best mixture of beef and chicken) - 500 g;
  • Greens to decorate the cake.

Cooking:

  1. The first step is to prepare the potatoes. This is the most time-consuming step in cooking. Wash and peel potatoes. Wash the peeled potatoes. Then grate peeled potatoes on the grater with the smallest nozzle. At this stage, it’s great to use a food processor that will chop the potatoes itself. If there is such an opportunity, then this step will be simple.
  2. After the potatoes are chopped, you need to add eggs and sifted flour to it.
  3. Peel and finely chopped onions. Pour the chopped onion into the potato mixture, leaving half of the cut for minced meat. Sprinkle to taste with salt, pepper. You can add other familiar spices.
  4. Now you need to prepare the stuffing. Pour it into a bowl. Add the second half of chopped onion to the minced meat. Stuff the minced meat with pepper and salt, your favorite spices. You can optionally add a few cloves of garlic, which must be passed through a garlic squeezer.
  5. Then you need to collect the casserole. To do this, put a layer of potato mixture in a greased (butter or sunflower) form, prepared minced meat on it, and cover everything on top with another layer of potatoes.
  6. Put the casserole for 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven. The temperature of the oven should be in the region of 200-250 degrees. After that, you need to get the casserole and carefully turn the casserole using a spatula. Bake for another half hour.
  7. Remove the casserole from the oven and garnish with chopped dill, parsley and other herbs. Serving such a potato casserole is better than hot.
