Pick your recipe

You will need

  • - 6 apples

  • - 400 g of granulated sugar,

  • - 100 ml of water,

  • - 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

  • - 0.5 teaspoon of sunflower oil.

  • or

  • - 5 bananas (or 10 mini-bananas),

  • - 300 g of sugar,

  • - 100 ml of water,

  • - 30 grams of butter,

  • - 1 teaspoon of white sesame or cinnamon powder.

Instruction manual

1

Take apples, rinse them with soda under running water and wipe dry. Stick a long wooden skewer into each fruit and lay the prepared fruit to the side. Prepare the dishes in which you will put the finished dessert. Be sure to grease the plate with sunflower oil so that the hot caramel does not stick to it.

2

Cook the caramel. Pour sugar in a small non-stick pan and pour water. Squeeze the juice from the lemon and add 1 teaspoon to the pan. Cook the caramel over medium heat, constantly stirring with a wooden spatula. The main thing is that sugar does not burn, otherwise bitterness will appear that spoils the taste of dessert. As a result, the sugar should completely dissolve and become thick in consistency. Remove the heat, but do not remove the pan from the burner.

3

Take the apples on a skewer and dip each in caramel. If the apples are large and not completely covered with the mixture, then pour them on top of a teaspoon. Put the dessert on a plate, allow time to completely harden and harden.

4

In a slightly different way, you can cook fried bananas in caramel. To do this, peel the bananas. If the fruits are large, then cut them into 2-3 parts, if miniature (mini-bananas) - leave them whole.

5

Put butter in a non-stick pan. As soon as it melts, add sugar, evenly distribute along the bottom of the container and fill it with water. Stir the sugar with a wooden spatula or spoon until it dissolves and changes color. Caramel should become thick and acquire a characteristic aroma.

6

Turn down the heat to a minimum. Put the prepared bananas in a row in a pan. Fry the fruit in caramel, carefully turning them over for about 2 minutes.

7

Remove the bananas from the pan, transfer them to a plate oiled. Pour the fruit with the remaining caramel and sprinkle with sesame seeds or cinnamon to your taste. Let the dessert cool completely.
