  • - milk - 1 cup (200 ml);

  • - flour - 1 tbsp. l.;

  • - nutmeg - 1 pinch;

  • - hard cheese - 200 g;

  • - butter - 100 g;

  • - garlic - 2 cloves;

  • - tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l.;

  • - tomatoes - 3 pcs. or tomatoes in their own juice - 100 g;

  • - seasoning "Italian herbs" (optional) - 1 tsp;

  • - pita - 3 sheets;

  • - sunflower oil for frying;

  • - ground black pepper;

  • - salt;

  • - baking dish.

First, prepare the stuffing. Peel the onions and garlic and chop them into small pieces. Then take a pan, pour in some sunflower oil. When it warms up, put the minced meat and fry it until it brightens.

Add onion to the pan, mix it with minced meat and simmer for about 7 minutes. Meanwhile, pour the tomatoes to the top with boiling water, cool in cold water, remove the skin from them and cut into small cubes. If you have tomatoes in your own juice, then mash them with a fork in mashed potatoes. Now put the tomatoes in the pan with the tomato paste. Add salt to taste, black pepper and Italian herbs. Simmer in a closed lid for about 10 minutes.

Now prepare the white sauce for lasagna. Put butter in a saucepan or stewpan and melt it. Add the flour, mix it with oil and fry for about 3 minutes. Then pour hot milk in a thin stream, add nutmeg, a pinch of salt and black ground pepper. Stir together and cook the sauce until thickened (at the same time, it should not boil).

Take a baking dish and grease it with any oil. Lay the first sheet of pita bread (if the sheets are too large, you can fold them in half). Spread half the minced meat on top and pour it with a spoon of white sauce. Put the next sheet. Again minced, sprinkled with sauce. Finish shaping with lasagna, covering with the last pita bread. Pour over the rest of the sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Place the lasagna in the oven for half an hour, heated to 200 degrees. When the time comes to an end, take out the finished dish, cut it into portions and serve.
