- - sugar - 1.5 kg;
- - water - 1 cup.

First of all, sort the berries of hawthorn. Then rinse them thoroughly under running water and dry them by spreading them on a clean, dry cloth.

Jam from these berries will not be cooked on the stove, but in the oven, so carefully pour the dried hawthorn into a baking tray with high sides. Then add the following ingredients to it: water and granulated sugar. Mix everything properly. After heating the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees, send the mixture to it.

Carefully monitor when the jam begins to boil, - foam begins to form on the mass of hawthorn berries. Remove from time to time and mix gently with a wooden spoon. After the foam has passed, the berries will become transparent.

After boiling, prepare hawthorn jam in the oven for another half an hour. After time, check availability. If its droplet does not spread on a plate, then this means that it has boiled and must be removed from the oven.

After cooling the sweet berry mass, transfer it to the prepared dishes. Hawthorn jam is ready! It will stand at room temperature for one year.
