There are a lot of recipes for cooking tuna in the oven. Each hostess is able to add a twist, thanks to which the dish will become even tastier. Tuna fish is high in protein. It is rich in phosphorus, vitamins and amino acids. It is useful for the skin and mucous membranes, nervous and digestive systems. Tuna is one of the few fish that do not lose their beneficial properties during canning.

- puff pastry (200 g);
- tomatoes (6 pcs.);
- cheese (50 g).
- For the sauce:
- butter (50 g);
- onions (1 pc.);
- flour (2 tablespoons);
- milk (2 tbsp.);
- salt;
- ground black pepper;
- mustard (1/2 tsp);
- cheese (180 g);
- tuna (400 g).

To start, prepare the sauce. Put the pan on the fire. Put the butter.

Take onions, peel and rinse.

Put the onions in a pan and sauté them for five minutes until golden brown.

Take some flour and add to the passivated onion. Hold it for another two minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and pour in the milk.

Salt, pepper and put on the fire again.

Stir while stirring until the sauce begins to remain on the spoon.

Add mustard, cheese and tuna and simmer another 2 minutes.

Rinse the tomatoes and dry them.

Cut the tomatoes into small slices.

Oil a medium-sized, heat-resistant form.

Put a layer of tuna sauce on the bottom of the form, then a layer of puff pastry, again a layer with tuna and a layer of tomatoes. Continue in this sequence, ending with a layer of tuna sauce. Leave some tomatoes for the top.

Sprinkle on top grated cheese on a fine grater, garnish with the remaining tomatoes and cover with foil.

Bake for 15-20 minutes at 220 C, then, removing the foil, keep in the oven for another 15-20 minutes until a golden brown crust forms.

If the fish is baked in foil, then it will be more juicy.

The form should be chosen with high sides so that the sauce does not run out onto a baking sheet.
