Meatballs with rice - a great option for dinner with children. If you have an oven, then cooking it will not be difficult. The highlight of these meatballs is that they are cooked together with frying and poured with sour cream and tomato sauce.

  • - rice - 80 g;

  • - onions - 2 pcs.;

  • - chicken egg - 1 pc.;

  • - tomato - 1 pc.;

  • - sour cream - 200 g;

  • - tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l.;

  • - ground black pepper;

  • - salt.

Rinse and dip in a small saucepan. Pour 160 ml of water, bring to a boil and cook under a closed lid for 10-15 minutes. When the rice is cooked, put it in a cool place to cool.

Peel the onions and chop finely. Dice the tomato as small as possible.

We will cook for meatballs a fry. Heat the pan, pour vegetable oil into it. Put onions and fry until golden brown. Add the tomato and fry until all the tomato juice has evaporated. Cool the cooked fry.

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees. In a deep bowl, mix the minced meat, boiled rice and tomato-onion fry. Add chicken egg, black pepper and salt to taste. Mix well.

Grease a baking dish with sour cream. From the prepared stuffing, mold the balls about 5 cm in diameter and lay them in a mold.

For the sauce, mix the remaining sour cream with half a glass of boiled water, add tomato paste, salt and a pinch of black pepper. Mix well.

Sauce all the meatballs evenly and send the mold to the oven. Bake them for half an hour until golden brown.
