To cook soup with pumpkin and cream on meat broth, you will need: 300 g of chicken breast, 300 g of pumpkin, 3 potatoes, 1 carrot and onion, salt to taste, 150 ml cream (10%), fresh herbs, vegetable oil, you can add a little paprika and curry.

First, prepare the pumpkin: peel, remove the seeds and cut into large pieces. They are placed in a baking sheet, add a little oil, mix and bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees. In the meantime, this vegetable is being prepared, the rest is peeled and cut into cubes. By the way, celery root can be added to them. 2 liters of water are poured into the pan and the chicken broth is cooked, then the meat is taken out and the vegetables and seasonings are poured into the liquid, salted and boiled until cooked.

To make mashed soup, pumpkin, potatoes, onions and carrots, grind with a blender and dilute the mass with broth and cream. After the dish is poured into a pan and brought to a boil, sprinkled with herbs. Puree soup is served on the table with meat and crackers.

This dish can be prepared in another way: do not cook, but fry the onions in a pan first, then add carrots, potatoes, baked pumpkin and spices to it, and then pour the broth so that it covers all the vegetables and simmer until done. Then grind everything, add cream and bring the soup to a boil.
