Traditionally, charlotte is made with apples. There are many options for the recipe, and not all of them are easy to execute. But there are simple ones that will not be any trouble.

What is required?

  • apples (autumn grade is better);

  • a pair of eggs;

  • 100 g melted margarine;

  • half a glass of sugar (you can make it smaller so that it is not so sweet);

  • couple of art. tablespoons of mayonnaise;

  • a teaspoon of soda;

  • a glass of flour.

How to cook?

  1. Take a form (not too voluminous), grease the bottom and walls with an unflavored vegetable oil.

  2. For charlotte, take the apples with sourness, cut them into slices, circles, cubes - as you prefer. Sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon.

  3. Take all the ingredients for the dough, first mix with a mixer, whisk or even a spoonful of eggs, melted (but not hot!) Margarine, mayonnaise, sugar and soda. Then pour flour into this mass and turn everything into a homogeneous substance.

  4. Pour the apples with the dough and send the charlotte dish to the 180 degree preheated oven. After 20 minutes, check the pastries - stick a toothpick and if it is dry, then the oven can be turned off. If traces of dough remain on the stick, then send the cake back to the oven for 5-10 minutes.

Charlotte with apples according to this recipe is airy, sweet and fragrant. Serve it as an independent dish, but if desired, add condensed milk or milk sauce.
