Herring fillets are carefully separated from the bones and wrapped in rolls, which are tightly stacked in a deep dish.

White onions are peeled, washed in water and cut onions into four parts. Lightly sprinkle them with vinegar.

4

A glass of water is poured into a pan and brought to a boil, put bay leaf, white onion, peppercorns and clove buds in it. The mixture is boiled, covered with a lid on very low heat for fifteen minutes. Then add white wine and continue boiling for another five minutes.

The resulting marinade is cooled, the remaining vinegar is added and carefully filtered. Pour herring rolls from herring and put them in a cool place for nine hours.

When the dish is ready, spread the herring on a serving plate and cut into portions. Top decorated with red onion rings and greens.
