Place the apple slices on the strips of puff pastry so that the peeled side slightly protrudes from the edge of the puff pastry. In addition, the slices should lie a little overlap.

Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon and sprinkle the apple slices on top. Then gently twist the strips of puff pastry along with apple slices in such a way as to create a kind of rosette.
