Defrost puff pastry, leaving it on the table at room temperature. Sprinkle a small amount of flour onto the work surface and lay the dough on top. Cut lengthwise into strips 2-3 cm wide, and then roll each of them to a thickness of 2 mm.

Wash apples, cut into halves, cut the core. Chop the flesh into thin slices without peeling.

Place the apple slices on the strips of puff pastry so that the peeled side slightly protrudes from the edge of the puff pastry. In addition, the slices should lie a little overlap.

Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon and sprinkle the apple slices on top. Then gently twist the strips of puff pastry along with apple slices in such a way as to create a kind of rosette.
