Fish roll made from saury will perfectly complement the daily menu and will look great on the festive table. Saury contains many valuable trace elements and fats, so the roll will turn out not only tasty, but also healthy.

You will need

  • - saury fillet (120 g);

  • - wheat bread (25 g);

  • - onion (40 g);

  • –Chicken egg (1 pc.);

  • - dill (5 g);

  • Cream butter (15 g);

  • - ground crackers (15 g);

  • - salt and pepper to taste.

Take the fish fillet, rinse thoroughly under running water. Place the fillet in a meat grinder or blender and chop. Add salt and pepper to the mixture, mix well again.

Wash the dill, chop finely. Free the onion from the husk, cut into large pieces. Divide the bread with your hands into small pieces. Transfer all the ingredients and the chicken egg to the minced fish and mix again until a uniform consistency is formed. The minced meat for the roll should be air, but not liquid. Leave the mixture for 10-15 minutes.

Cover the baking sheet with cooking paper, grease with cooking oil, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, put the mincemeat, evenly leveling the surface of the baking sheet. Bake the dish in the oven for about 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 150-160 degrees.

Remove the pan from the oven, let the dish cool slightly. Carefully grab one edge of the resulting formation with your hands and slowly roll it into a roll. On top of the still warm roll, spread with butter and wait until the dish is saturated.

Top roll can be decorated with finely chopped vegetables or olives. Do not forget to slightly moisten the knife before cutting the roll into portioned pieces. So the roll will be easier to cut.

Roll can be served with sour cream sauce, to which crushed capers or parsley should be added.
