The list of ingredients for making lean bulk pie stuffed with quince is quite small. You do not need to cook the dough, instead, just mix wheat flour, granulated sugar and semolina in a dry saucepan.

The prepared dry mixture should be set aside and to prepare the filling.

To do this, boil liquid sugar syrup from water and sugar. Combine the sugar with water in a heat-resistant dish and place on high heat.

Bring to a boil and cook, reducing the heat to a minimum, until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.

Then peel quince fruits and seeds, cut into small pieces or grate on a fine grater. Wipe with a blender, adding 50 milliliters of cold water and sugar syrup. Water is necessary to give the filling a juiciness, since the fruits of the quince themselves are quite dry.

Take a silicone baking dish, with a diameter of 24 - 26 cm. There is no need to lubricate such a mold. Lay out and evenly distribute one third of the dry mix on the bottom of the mold. Put half the filling on top. Then again the dry mixture - one third or half of the remaining. And the rest of the filling. Remember to level the layers.

Finally, lay out the rest of the dry mix and pour vegetable oil on top.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius and put the mold with the future cake inside. Bake for 45 minutes.

At the end of this time, remove the cake pan from the oven, cool for several minutes and carefully transfer to a dish. You must do this very carefully so that the cake does not fall apart. The easiest way is to turn the loose cake on a wide board and then turn it from the board to the dish.
