You will need

  • - mashed potato (660 g);

  • - starch (45 g);

  • - onion (190 g);

  • - carrots (220 g);

  • –– any mushrooms (180 g);

First you need to prepare the filling. To do this, take onions, peel, rinse. Chop the onions in any shape, put in a pan and fry until half cooked.

While the onion is fried, grate the carrots and transfer to the onion. Remember to stir the mixture periodically. Mushrooms should also be finely chopped into cubes and added to the onion with carrots. Cook the filling for about 5-7 minutes, then salt and pepper. Leave the vegetable mixture to cool for a while.

Boil potatoes, whip in mashed potatoes with a blender or mixer. Salt a little. Gently pour the starch into the puree and mix again. Cover the baking sheet with cooking paper, grease. Spread a layer of potato dough on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

When the top layer of the potato is browned, remove the pan from the oven. Put the vegetable filling on the potatoes, sprinkle with chopped herbs, carefully roll in the shape of a roll. Lubricate with vegetable oil on top and put in the oven again. Cook for about 10 minutes.

Transfer the finished roll to a flat dish, and pour the vegetable sauce that will stand out during cooking. Do not forget to cut the roll into portions.

Roll can be used both in cold and in hot form, and try replacing dill with oregano in order to make the taste more original.
