  • - a pinch of salt;

  • - 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • For filling:

  • - cabbage - 300 g;

  • - onion - 1 pc.:

  • - carrots - 1 pc.;

  • - 0.5 teaspoon of turmeric;

  • - vegetable oil for frying.

For the dough to succeed, sift the flour together with salt. Thus, it will be saturated with oxygen and the baking will turn out to be very tasty and crispy. Boil water, pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into it. Pour in flour, stirring constantly and brew until a shiny mass is obtained. Mix the dough thoroughly, knead, form a ball and put it in a plastic bag or wrap in cling film. Leave to cool.

Prepare the filling. Chop the cabbage finely. Peel the onion and chop finely, peel the carrots and grate on a fine grater. Pour a little vegetable oil into the stewpan, put the onion and fry it until half-cooked (the onion should become transparent), add the grated carrot, turmeric and fry all together. Add cabbage, cover the stewpan with a lid and simmer all together until tender.

Knead the dough, roll it thinly and cut circles of the same diameter. As a template, you can use a small plate or saucer.

On one side of each cake, put 1 tablespoon with a slide of filling. Cover with the other half of the dough and squeeze to let all the air out. Pinch the edges of the cheburek.

Strongly heat the vegetable oil in a pan with a thick bottom and fry in it pasties on both sides. Ready chebureks should be rosy and fried. Put them on a napkin so that it absorbs excess oil.
