You will need

  • - finished puff pastry - 500 g;

  • - pickles - 6-7 pcs.;

  • - eggs - 2 pcs.;

  • - onions - 2 pcs.;

  • - egg yolk - 1 pc.;

  • - salt;

  • - ground black pepper.

First of all, take the finished puff pastry from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator. There it should melt naturally.

With pickles, do this: chop them on a medium-sized grater. Put the resulting mass on a colander. Thus, all excess fluid, which is absolutely unnecessary, will drain from it.

Peel two onions, then chop finely with a knife. After placing it in a hot pan with sunflower oil, fry until a rosy color appears.

Cool hard-boiled eggs, cool, remove the shells from their surface and grind them into small enough cubes.

Taking a free cup, mix the following in it: mashed pickles, fried onions and diced boiled eggs. Mix everything properly. Season the formed mass with salt and pepper to your taste. When adding salt, keep in mind that it needs very little.

Remove thawed puff pastry from the refrigerator and two-thirds of it, previously rolled into a layer, place in a baking dish. Do not forget to form the sides along the edge of the future pie. Then put the resulting cucumber filling on the dough.

Roll out the remaining dough to the desired size and cover the filling with it. After plucking the edges, grease the surface of the future cake with beaten egg yolk, and then send it to the oven to bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Remove the finished baked goods from the oven. Pie with pickles is ready!
