  • For filling:

  • - 2.5 cups of black currant;

  • - 100 g of granulated sugar;

  • - 2 teaspoons of breadcrumbs;

  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch.

Mix flour with salt, granulated sugar and baking powder. Then pour in the vegetable oil, mix, add warm water and knead an elastic soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Wrap it in a bag and leave it on the table for about an hour.

Meanwhile, prepare a baking dish with a diameter of 20 cm. Cover it with parchment paper, grease it with a little vegetable oil and sprinkle with 2 tbsp. spoons of flour so that the cake does not stick to the mold.

After the set time, knead the dough and divide it into two parts. Roll the first into a round layer 0.7 mm thick. Put it on the bottom of the mold, leaving high sides so that the filling does not leak. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, which will absorb excess liquid during the baking process.

Prepare the filling. To do this, cut the coarse tails of black currant, rinse it and let the water drain completely. Then mix it with granulated sugar and starch, put on the dough.

Roll the second part of the dough into a thin layer, lay it on the filling and pinch the edges of the dough, wrapping them up. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 40 minutes.
