Instruction manual
1
Heat the milk slightly, pour in yeast, 40 g of sugar, 4 tablespoons of flour and mix well. Leave until the dough rises.
2
In the meantime, remove the butter from the refrigerator and wait for it to soften. Beat it with the remaining half of sugar, a teaspoon of salt, 4 tbsp. vegetable oil, eggs and yolks until smooth.
3
Add the dough to the mixture and sift the flour. Mix all the ingredients and knead the dough. Cover it with a clean towel and place it in a warm place (in a slightly preheated, slightly open oven, this will take about 40 minutes).
4
Introduce dried cherries into the dough that has come up and mix again. Leave to approach for another hour.
5
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Prepare a large baking sheet, lining it with parchment paper.
6
Divide the approached dough into two parts, form a loaf from each and make cuts on each so that the pastries rise better. Let it go for another 15-20 minutes.
7
Mix milk with yolks, grease the blanks and send to the oven. Bake for half an hour.
8
Fry almond petals until browned in a frying pan without oil.
9
Warm the orange confiture. Grease them with warm bread and garnish with fried nut flakes.
