You will need

  • - 2-2.5 kg of meat;

  • - 0.5 tbsp. brown sugar;

  • - 25 ml of liquid honey;

  • - 1.5 tbsp spicy brown mustard;

  • - a pinch of ground cloves;

  • - 1 tbsp. pecans.

Instruction manual

1

On a piece of meat of your choice (you can choose with or without bone) we make a diamond-shaped mesh of incisions with a depth of about a quarter centimeter.

2

We heat the oven to a temperature of 160 degrees and prepare a refractory form, lining it with foil. We spread the prepared piece in it and also cover with foil on top. Sent to a hot oven for an hour and a half.

3

While the meat is baked, we chop the nuts into small crumbs with a knife (you can use a manual mill or a kitchen processor). We should get about half a glass of nut crumbs.

4

We proceed to the preparation of the sauce. To do this, in a small saucepan we mix sugar and hot mustard, add liquid aromatic honey and a pinch of ground cloves. We put on minimum and fire and wait until bubbles appear on the surface of the sauce. Then remove it from the stove and pour the chopped pecans. Mix.

5

An hour after the start of cooking the meat we take it out of the oven, carefully remove the foil and carefully rub it with the sauce (leaving a little for serving). Return to the oven for another 20 minutes.

6

After 20 minutes, remove and grease with a mixture of the highest sauce and the allocated meat juice. Sent to the oven for another 20 minutes.

7

We take out the finished dish from the oven, let it cool for literally 5-10 minutes, pour over the remaining sauce and serve it to the table!
