You will need
- carrots - 1kg
- ginger root - 3-4 cm
- milk - 250ml
- water
- salt
- ground black pepper
- parsley or basil

Wash the carrots, peel and cut into large pieces. Immerse in a pot of water and cook over medium heat until softened for 20-30 minutes.

While the carrots are cooked, wash and peel the ginger, cut into cubes.

Let the carrots cool slightly, then beat together with ginger and milk in a blender. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the finished soup into plates, garnish with basil or parsley leaves. Bon Appetit!

To make the soup tender, carrots must be cooked for a sufficient amount of time, until completely softened.
If you add an excessive amount of ginger, the soup may have a bitter taste.
